One of the world’s most famous footballers, Cristiano Ronaldo’s plane has been reported to have crash landed. Current World Footballer of the Year, Cristiano Ronaldo’s private jet has crash landed at Barcelona’sEl Prat airport. According to The Sun UK, the plane crashed after the landing gear broke on impact. Local media reports have revealed that the Real Madrid star’s plane was involved in the terrifying accident on Monday, although he is not thought to have been on board. Eyewitnesses said the emergency services raced to the scene after the malfunction.A runway was closed for a short time and a pilot was attended to for very minor injuries. The undercarriage and landing gear of the 31-year-old’s plane was damaged during the crash. The football star, 31, who bought the plane for some £15million a year ago, is set to get a bumper new contract from Real Madrid. According to The Sun UK, a source said: “The plane is normally rented by companies and it was in use by one of them.“C

The former National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Lai Mohammed has announced the decision of the government on the sale of national assets.  The federal government has made a U-turn in its proposed bid to dispose national assets to raise money in order to reflate the economy, describing it as mere speculation. This position was made known by the minister of information, Lai Mohammed, after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday, at the Presidential Villa. This comes barely one week after the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting, presided over by the vice president, Yemi Osinbajo, with 23 state governors in attendance, backed the sale of national assets as one of the ways to raise cash to reflate the economy. The NEC, which is the highest economic decision making body, also canvassed advance payment of licence renewals, infrastructure concessioning and implementation of fiscal stimulus. Leadership
