Meet CoverGirl’s First Ever Cover Boy, 17 year old James Charles is Making History!

CoverGirl recently announced that their newest CoverGirl to work with current brand ambassador Katy Perry is, in fact, a CoverBoy! His name is James Charles, a 17 year-old high school senior and makeup artist with over 430k followers on Instagram and 70,000 YouTube subscribers.

The announcement came in via Instagram on CoverGirl’s, Katy Perry’s, and James Charles’ accounts. In a video, posted on Covergirl’s account, Charles introduced himself saying;
“Hey guys, my name is James Charles and I’m a 17-year-old makeup artist! Today I am living out one of my biggest dreams and I’m currently on set for my first-ever TV commercial with CoverGirl. That’s right, I am a new CoverGirl.”
Charles will star in print, TV and digital ads solo and alongside current CoverGirl ambassador, Katy Perry. This move is ground breaking for both James and the CoverGirl brand as James is the first male spokesmodel in the brand’s almost 60-year-old history.

Tension as armed Igbo youths allegedly stop and search vehicles in southeast for Hausas (video)

A video has surfaced online of some armed southeast youths carrying out a stop and search operation in the southeast looking for Hausas in vehicles. In the video shared by Sahara Reporters, the youths who carried knives, daggers and bottles could be seen stopping inter-state vehicles and speaking in Igbo, the operation was carried out in In Aba Southeast, Abia state. The youths asked the occup ants of there were any Hausa Fulani persons in the vehicles and the passengers replied that there were none before they were asked to go. A few metres away, the same vehicle was stopped and the same question put to them and they replied again that if there were any Hausas in the vehicle, thy would have been removed. Some tyres were being burnt along the way as the youths stopped more vehicles to ask the occupants if there were any Hausas in them.  The same vehicle was stopped again and the occupants insisted that "It is only your brothers that are inside here. We did not carry any Hausas....
