NYSC Releases New Update On Collection Of Discharge Certificates

The Management of the National Youth Service Corps(NYSC) has released a new statement concerning the news making rounds on the collection of certification of National Service.

A statement by the scheme on Tuesday urged all Corps members and other stakeholders to disregard the news that ”Corps members will henceforth collect their discharge certificate from their original state of deployment starting from 2015 Batch B Stream 2.”

The Scheme noted that ”in line with established tradition, all Corps members are to collect their Certificates in states where they complete the national service.”

NYSC, however, advised, all Corps members to disregard the information being circulated online, noting that the information did not ”emanate from the scheme and is, therefore, baseless.”
