The National President of the Bus Conductors Association of Nigeria, BCAN, Comrade Israel Ade Adeshola has disclosed that the association is set to employ 1000 graduates through the Lagos State ministry of transportation,Vanguard reports. Adeshola who noted that the graduates would be from different Universities across the country added that the new policy of the Lagos state government is collaborating with the association to give bus conducting profession a new look. His words: “presently Lagos state government through the Lagos State Drivers Institute, LASDRI is training and accrediting conductors in the state.”After the training, the graduands would be employed as bus conductors and would be on the payroll of the government with a salary worth of N50,000 per month. “The objective is to make the job of bus conducting attractive, respected and dignified as obtainable globally”, Adeshola noted. The FBI obtained a warrant to search emails related to the probe of Hillary Clinton's private server that were discovered on ex-congressman Anthony Weiner's laptop, law enforcement officials confirmed Sunday. As negotiations for the expected next phase of the release of 83 Chibok girls begins this week, there were indications, last night, that the leadership of the Boko Haram sect might table two major conditions to be met by the Federal Government to seal the deal. A Federal High Court in Abuja has thrown out an application filed before it by Senator Stella Oduah, a former Minister of Aviation.
